Use a Pumice stone and gently rub it over the ring of dirt being careful not to scratch off the enamel. You can purchase the Pumice Stone at Hardware Stores.  Then poor a little bleach in the toilet over the area where the dirty ring was that you scrubbed off with the pumice stone. Let bleach soak in toilet for about 10 minutes and then flush.</p>
